I can't help,
But wish I could hold you to me
Now more than ever.

You could be so many hundreds of miles away,
Or could've just past me in the hall.
How am I to know you?

With every particle in my being
I believe,

The thought of how this could be
Perplexing...

I just wish you were here
With me now,
There is nothing I wish more.

How do I know,
Is the path I walk the right,

Could one mislead turn really lead
To this eternal loneliness
