Field Trip

Recently my class went on a field trip to the Zoo and Aquarium. While their we had a ton of fun even though it was cold and raining the whole time. My group was chaperoned by our math teacher who is very funny and always fun to hang around with, we ran all over the zoo although one of my favorite parts (the rhinos) exhibit was closed. While there we also saw things like cheetahs, a Siberian tiger, and two very large lions. After the Zoo our class went to the Aquarium. It was amazing and we saw all manner of fish, some of my favorite were the the sharks, barracudas, and a very large puffer fish. We were very lucky because no one else was their at the time we got the whole aquarium to ourselves and we got to sleep in front of the shark tank. The girls slept looking into the shark tank and us guys got to sleep looking into the same tank but at a different angle but the difference about our view was we couldn't see the sides of the tank and the glass actually curved over top of us! It was by far one of the coolest experiences to fall asleep (while listening to Dave Mathews Band) with two barracudas and a giant tiger shark less than four feet from your face. The trip was definitely one I would take again.
